If you would just like to get to know the collections – flicking through old newspapers or perusing photos of the town – you are more than welcome to spend a few hours in the reading room.

CONTRIBUTION TO LOCAL HISTORY

The collections are a result of the submissions the archives have been receiving since it all started in 1955, and the task of collection never ceases. Help us collect. Anything that provides new knowledge about the local community is of interest.

WE ARE HAPPY TO RECEIVE MATERIAL

If you do not wish to relinquish the right of ownership to your material, you can deposit it in the archives. We also welcome things for copying: for example, photographing old pictures.
